KRIYA SHARIR
The subject of kriyasharir is the basic subject of Ayurveda in the curriculum of BAMS under Graduation. KriyaSharir gives Knowledge about the different activities of different organs and organs present in the body. KriyaSharir includes description of action, formation and distinctions of dosha, Dhatu and malas.
Acharya Charak has said that the doctor who always knows whole body in all respects, the same Bhishak(Doctor) also knows completely the science of Ayurveda which gives happiness in the world.
Kriyasharirinititates learning of ayurveda at primary level for the Students of First BAMS.
OBJECTIVES
- To explain the basic concept of Human physiology in Ayurveda.
- To Make student well oriented with basic concepts, Knowledge and applicablility of Tridoshas, saptaDhatus and Trimala.
- To make Student able to Develop Scientific approach to meet Challenges of different streams of the Current sciences.
Vision
Our aim is to highlights the basic knowledge and to give a new scientific approach to undergraduate student to develop their skills of Ayurveda and make them competent to apply in clinical practice and research.
Mission
To Teach physiology using maximum aids and tools as per NCISM like group discussion, Workshops, fields visits and activities beyond the textbook, thereby making it easy to Understand the concept physiology (KriyaSharir) Initiate further research in kriyasharir by incorporating research projects.
